something more (not) rubbery - Part 2

Planet of the Vampires. This eerie film from the 1960's features what could be the most erotic yet functionally useless spacesuits ever designed. Leather might hold an astronauts form in space but not his oxygen. Still, there are more than a few hot guys in this film. Here are a few stills from the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt7PvTwYF3E

something rubbery from the web

It looks rubbery but is probably leather. Whatever it is, the athletic balancing act from Cirque du Soliels Saltimbanco are still hot! I first saw this on the video monitor while taking a piss at the local dance club. Then saw it live visiting in Koln. I doubt I have any good pix from that day but here are some stills from the video. The original is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tx3qtW3hIY

Going to LA 1: Rubbellion Grand Opening

Went to LA area on business and by happy coincidence it coincided (is that a double positive???) with Jeff Gent's grand opening of his new offices for Rubbellion, his rubber/latex outlet on Melrose at Vermont. (His is one of the blogs I'm a follower of.) After a brief stop on the Hollyweird's Walk of Fame (more on that later), I tagged up with an old friend and we went down to check it out. Got there early but the place, which is not large, was soon packed. Met some great rubber men I haven't seen since, well . . . Chicago for some of them. Rubber dawg was there, too, a welcome surprise! More leather than rubber men showed up but I guess we can't be too picky (grin). Next post will include some of my rubber travel exploits from this trip. Here are some photos of the hot rubber guys who attended.
Some of Rubbellion's works, including one of Devil Dog's classic modified glove designs.

I definitely want to get fitted for a pair of these transparent leggings

Okay, I like rubbered ass, in black, white or any color.

A familiar puppy!

Jocks and Camo

Well, its on the road again, this time to sunny Californya for a week of meetings. So it was throw on the (rubber) camo pants and (rubber) khaki T and head west. That was fun, but for the meetings I had to dress up nice. Can't go to meetings without my lucky red (rubber) jock, tho, not forgetting the scent when it comes off at the end of the day. Saturday I'll be at the opening of Rubbellion, the newest rubber outlet in SoCal, located next to the Faultline. Below are some shots of the camo gear, the red jock, plus a green rubber jock that I made about 2 years ago.

Rubber at 7000 ft

Yes, here is the conclusion of my tale of rubber adventures at that enormous canyon they call grand. We arrived in the afternoon in time for sunset and took a good long look. I wandered down the rim a bit and when noone as around, striped of my outer-ware and was my friend photographed me in full rubber with the gaping chasm in the background. Did that the next day too. For sunrise I got into my blue latex pants and black jacket and wandered around soaking up the early morning vistas before heading to a nice rim-view breakfast.

High altitude gear

On the third day I headed down the semi-frozen muddy trail for a short hour-long hike down one of the trails to the bottom (which I had done in its entirety several decades earlier) in full rubber gear: blue jeans, black jeans jacket, shirt and black rubber arctic (micki mouse) boots. I'm no fool though, so I also wore a pull-over to ward off the 45 degree cold. My boots got nice and muddy and if I had been alone on some secluded part of the trail I'd have been stomping and rolling in it. Met some some nice young japanese ladies (in tennis shoes on the muddy trails in spite of the advice to the contrary) on the way back up who told me I was "cool," and I got a kick out of that. Another thought I had on a nice exposure suit! Not really, the rubber was no insulation at all so that pull-over worked out just fine. On the way up I got rock hard for about 15 minutes, producing a very prominent outline in the blue rubber and came close to messing the inside of my blue jeans (I'll be posting some of those pics on my profile sites later). Fortunately I didn't meet any guys on the way up who might have been inclined to push me over the edge. Too late, I'd already gone over the edge long time ago. All in all, a little harmless fun next to the big pit.

Rubber Underground

Carlzbad . . .
Sometimes I just feel like being a rubberman, and on my current holiday excursion the impulse to be rubber 24/7 has been overwhelming whether in public or not. With a guest from the caribbean in tow we headed off to that big canyon in Arizona, stopping at Carlzbad Caverns on the way. So what did I do? Put on a pair of rubber blue jeans, black rubber shirt, and a black rubber jeans-style jacket and headed underground. The caverns are about 55 degrees but with no breeze I was working up a good sweat soon enough. Most of the hike down is not very brightly lit so i was not obviously in rubber, except for the constant squeeking as I walked. Once down in the main rooms, the lighting was brighter and it was obvious what I was wearing but noone gave me any grief. After that, it was pile back in the car for Roswell, where I tried to be a rubber alien (but got no pix), and then up north for a few days. All told, a nice day to be in rubber. All part of my 4 weeks of rubber (starting Dec. 9, spending part or all of each day in some form of latex gear. Next blog, hiking around the big ditch . . .
